Michelle Fox

Owner/CLT/National Laser Trainer

Michelle Fox received her aesthetic training in Wichita, Kansas in 2004. Realizing her passion for medical aesthetics she then ventured to Phoenix, AZ where she continued her education adding Laser Certification to her skill set. Shortly after graduating, she was asked to work for the training facility where she became certified. There she was able to hone her skills and train alongside some of the most talented in the industry. In 2008, Michelle went on to gain valuable experience and knowledge working alongside a group of world-renowned Perinatologists. During this time, they aimed to correct the ever-difficult skin conditions of women undergoing intense fertility treatments during and post-pregnancy, which proved extremely rewarding.

In 2011, Michelle saw the need for continued education and founded Skindipity.com, an online training platform for aesthetic professionals worldwide. After spending three years in beautiful Bend, Oregon where she was the trainer and Aesthetic Supervisor of the largest Med Spa in Central Oregon, she returned to Phoenix. Upon her return, she successfully managed a prominent medical spa chain in the valley while also overseeing aesthetic and laser training for all of their five other facilities.

Since, she has evolved Skindipity.com into the SAA Institute and gone on to train and consult with numerous physicians, nurses, and aestheticians all around the country. Michelle has a deep passion and unique approach to training and educating others with the safe and proper use of lasers and advanced aesthetic application.

With her unique experience, Michelle is passionate about training all who enter her doors in the art of sales and patient consultation to ensure a successful future for both you and your patients.

SAA is accredited by the state of Arizona to train and certify physicians, nurses, and aestheticians.

Katie Keil

MSN/FNP-C/Master Injector Medical Director

Katie was born and raised in Ohio, and decided to chase her long time dream of living in the sunshine. She has always had a passion to care for others, which is why she went to nursing school and graduated with her bachelors in nursing in 2013. To strive for more, she decided to go back to school to receive her Masters in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree in May, 2020. During her years in her Masters program (2017-2020), Katie had received the opportunity to shadow and work alongside highly trained and certified healthcare professionals in the medical aesthetic world, where she then found her calling! Her passion is to not only help people feel good, but look good as well! Outside of receiving her masters degree, Katie has had multiple advanced aesthetic trainings and courses to allow her to be as knowledgeable and well trained as possible to help her clients receive the results they are looking for. Outside of her job as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, Katie enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, hiking, and traveling! With her education, training and over 8+ years of experience, Katie strives to help others feel good about themselves, as well as achieve and maintain the results they desire!

Sierra Whitehouse

MedSpa Coordinator/CLT

Every place needs a swiss army knife, and that’s exactly what Sierra is for us! She is the MedSpa Coordinator here at AZLaserStudio and often the first/last point of contact for all of our patients. Her background as a certified laser technician, lash technician, and licensed esthetician really helped mold her into the MedSpa professional you see today. She found a passion for aesthetics at a very young age and would always practice makeup and skincare with her mom. Her passion has now blossomed into making others feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. Good luck not falling in love with her!

Jamie LaKind

CLT/LE/CLI

Jamie joined the industry in 2018 as a licensed esthetician and certified laser technician receiving her education from Penrose Academy and SAA Laser Institute. She is also certified three times in Microneedling and lash extensions. Jamie first found her way into the industry from her love of makeup but soon found her passion in corrective skin care. Not only does jamie love helping you with your skin care, but she also enjoys tattoo removal and hair reduction! She loves this industry and all there is to learn as it is evolving everyday and will continue to educate herself to make sure her patients get nothing but the best! Making people feel better about themselves and seeing results from the treatments she performs is why she enjoys this field so much.

Desiree De La Fuente

MA/CLI/CLT/LSO

Desiree De La Fuente is a California native, but was raised here in the valley of the sun. She started her Cosmetic Laser career in 2016. Upon starting her career, Desiree was determined to work at the best physician only practice; where she became their first hired laser technician, which led the way for future laser technicians.

Desiree has worked alongside Naturopathic Doctors her entire career. She is a true believer in looking at the body as a whole. Working with doctors, ignited a new passion within Desiree, which led her to continue her education, graduating as a medical assistant. Her medical background has been successful in laser tattoo removal and scar revision, enabling her to advance in her career.She currently holds certifications in Medical Assisting, Laser Technician, and Laser Safety Officer. She holds an extensive background knowledge in different types of tattoo ink and how ink has developed over the decades. This has allowed Desiree the opportunity to become a true laser artist, customizing each of her successful removals.

Desiree comes from one of the top laser tattoo removal salons in the valley; where she was a lead laser provider and trainer. There she developed innovative, successful advancements, by combining laser tattoo removal and scar revision. Desiree has been featured on the news, and within news articles for giving others a second chance and fresh start with tattoo removal

Outside of training and helping her patients achieve successful results, Desiree enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 boys and 3 dogs. They all enjoy outdoor adventures!

Ian Bates

Ian Bates is a certified physician assistant. He is originally from Utah where he grew up and got his undergraduate. He attended Utah State University. Upon completing his undergraduate he went on to physician assistant school at ATSU university in Mesa Arizona. He earned his agree in 2017. He has been practicing since that time. He works as both an injector as well as a laser technician at Az laser studio and Medspa as well as a PCP here in Mesa. He has been doing injectables for the past 3 1/2 years as well as an experienced laser technician. He is married and has two children. He enjoys working with in the health field, especially in the med spa as he is able to help other fulfill their Aesthetic needs and make them feel confident and beautiful.
